Our Approach
88Keys provides a boutique service for live and recorded music. Think small venues, acoustic instruments, voice, and personal projects.
We prefer preservation of dynamics over loudness, and therefore apply just enough compression and limiting to glue the mix together. Our output streams and files have the correct loudness level for Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Apple Podcast, Amazon Alexa, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, Netflix, HBO, and Disney+.
Rates
The basic rate is $100 per hour, for gigs lasting up to 5 hours, with a minimum charge of $200. The clock starts when we arrive at the location, and stops when we pack up and leave.
Live streams are always recorded. You can have the remixed and remastered recording for free, with a lead time of one week.
Let us know if you also need to have the piano tuned for the gig. We have tuning + audio packages.
